GenCLEO High School Ambassadors Meet-Up

On October 21st, 2017, the CLEO Institute hosted a Climate 101 workshop in Miami.

We were happy to have among us the GenCLEO high school ambassadors, a group of enthusiastic students from nine Miami Dade County high schools. These students are committed to the fight against climate change and to becoming a part of the CLEO Speakers Network, in order to build their knowledge of climate science and learn how to effectively communicate the urgency to different audiences.

CLEO reaches an intergenerational crowd through these climate literacy workshops as the climate crisis affects everyone. It was great to see curious participants who will join the movement and help make Florida climate-literate. Every step we take toward becoming informed advocates, allows us to strengthen our resiliency in the face of future changes.
