In Miami, CAP, the CLEO Institute, and Catalyst Miami to Convene South Florida Climate Change Equity Solutions Summit

The Southeast Florida Regional Climate Action Plan (RCAP) is aimed at reducing the region’s contribution to climate change pollution and building resilient communities in the area—including Miami-Dade, Broward, Monroe, and Palm Beach Counties and their municipalities. With the plan due for renewal this year, it will be critical to include in RCAP 2.0 actionable policy ideas to reduce the vulnerability of under-resourced communities to the effects of climate change. As a step towards this effort, on Saturday, June 10, the Center for American Progress, in partnership with The CLEO Institute and Catalyst Miami, will convene the South Florida Climate Change Equity Solutions Summit at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in downtown Miami.
