This town hall will feature WLRN and Miami Herald reporters and experts discussing the intersection of this important issue, South Florida, and the 2020 presidential race. We have never been closer to having our ocean blasted and drilled for oil. At 12 noon on May 18th, people on beaches all over the nation will be joining hands in solidarity against seismic airgun blasting and offshore drilling in the Atlantic.

Join Oceana, the Urban Paradise Guild, Surfrider Foundation Miami & our community partners for this important annual event!

Schedule:

11 am: Arrive at event. Find out more about Oceana, Surfrider, and Urban Paradise Guild.
12 noon: Join hands for 15 minutes, forming a continuous line in the sand. We expect this will be the longest Hands Across the Sand line in the state of Florida!
