Climate Change Workshop at West Kendall Regional Library

On Wednesday, May 8, Olivia Collins, CLEO’s Director of Programs, gave a Climate 101 talk to twenty residents at West Kendall Regional Library, hosted in the library’s YouMake Miami Space. Attendees ranged from 12 to 70 years old. The presentation covered the causes and impacts of climate change, as well as tangible solutions. Following the presentation, attendees wrote letters to their commissioners to express their concerns about climate change, asking them to take action.

The CLEO Institute would like to extend a special thank you to Dayna Cortes, Library Media Project Instructor for Miami-Dade Public Library System, for inviting us to speak.
