Climate Change 101 Presentation at St. Agnes Catholic Church and Academy

On Thursday, May 9, Natalia Ortiz, CLEO’s Director of Development, and Mia Kirn, CLEO’S Media and Development Coordinator, gave three separate Climate 101 presentations which reached more than sixty teachers, clergy, and church staff associated with St. Agnes Catholic Church and St. Agnes Academy in Key Biscayne. The presentations covered the causes and impacts of climate change, as well as tangible solutions.

This three-part event represented the first time that the CLEO Institute trained all the teachers and staff from a school.

The CLEO Institute would like to extend a special thank you to Fr. Juan Carlos Paguaga for inviting us to speak. We have established an ongoing relationship with St. Agnes that will include future climate presentations for school parents and the church congregation.
