Key Biscayne- Understanding the Importance of Resilience

The Citizen Science Project of Key Biscayne hosted CLEO last night at the Key Biscayne community center. CLEO was joined by Dr. Benjamin Kirtman and Julie Dick. Natalia Ortiz, CLEO’s Director of Development, presented the science of climate change, how it impacts our lives, and solutions individuals can take to mitigate climate change. Dr. Kirtman took that audience into a deep dive of the science, while Julie Dick discussed Key Biscayne’s opportunity for resilience.

A total of 145 people attended the lecture.
